What are you using to get your family around Kentwood or Wyoming, MI or these days? If it isn't the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas, you aren't traveling right. Betten Volkswagen, in Grand Rapids, is awful fond of the 2020 Atlas. But that is no surprise. The 2020 Volkswagen Atlas is what minivans hope to be when they grow up. It takes a special crossover to earn high praise from national publications. We are honored to announce the 2020 VW Atlas was awarded the 2020 Family Car of the Year by Cars.com.

Few midsize SUVs can keep up with a number of features and space it provides for as many as seven passengers. This is what caught the attention of the team at Cars.com. Three rows of seats set the stage for a comfortable ride from Allendale, MI to Holland, MI. Jenni Newman is the editor-in-chief at Cars.com and says the "cavernous interior can easily handle hauling kids and their car seats." She noticed that the third row is spacious enough for even your teens to stretch out and enjoy the ride.

But the roomy interior isn't limited to the seating area. The cargo area checks in at 20.6 cubic feet of storage, which outranks its competitors. Or as much as 96.8 cubic feet if you need to lay down both rear rows of seats. Newman says this means, "families don't have to choose between carrying people or their stuff."

A good family-moving SUV is nothing if it isn't safe. That is a huge factor in Cars.com's decision, as well. It was fond of the positive crash test results earned by the 2020 Atlas. Not to mention the vast array of standard and available driver-assist and safety technology features packed throughout the Atlas.

This is hardly the first time Cars.com has taken notice of the Volkswagen Atlas. Just last year, it earned a spot on Cars.com's Car Seat Check Honor Roll. In 2018 it landed on Cars.com's "Best Of" list and took top honors in the 2017 Three-Row SUV Challenge. Now it is time for you see what all the hoopla is about, by seeing how your family can benefit from the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas at Betten Volkswagen.
