    Since I purchased my 2024 VW Atlas approximately one year ago (@20,000 miles currently), I have had to make three appointments to the service center. My first visit was for a Recall on the Infotainment System. I was having no issues with this system until one week after the "fix" when the screen would go fuzzy and be difficult to read about 1-2 times per week. I decided to wait to call fr an appointment to fix the "fix" until I had another reason to visit the Service Center. Luckily for me (haha), another Recall came in the mail for the hood cover in March 2025. At my visit on March 19, the fixed the Infotainment system glitch, temporarily fixed the second recall on the hood cover (was told a permanent fix would need to take place at some time in the future), and they found an oil leak in the system. That appointment took 3 1/2 hours even though I arrived on time for the appointment. They did not have the part for the oil leak repair, so I had to make another appointment. That appointment took place on April 16 and I arrived on time. That time I sat for 2 hours! The Service Counter guy (who has been very friendly) said he was sorry that I had to wait longer than expected. SO, in less than one year after purchasing a brand-new car I have had three service appointments, waited 3 1/2 hours and 2 hours for two of those appointments, had two recalls and a repair needed for an oil leak, will still have a future appointment for the permanent repair to the hood cover some time in the future, and I am frustrated. Like I said, the service counter man has been very kind and helpful and I love my Atlas, but I feel like this is excessive. I was also promised all weather car mats by my salesman which I never received. I would appreciate some form of compensation for all of my inconveniences. Thank you.
